Children and Youth

Children’s worship during the 8:45am worship service.  The children start the Worship Service in the Sanctuary, then after Children’s Chat  are led to the Junior Worship Room for Kid’s Own Worship based on the same topic as the sermon, and those younger are taken to the Nursery for activities geared to their age.

All kids aged through 5th grade who come to church at the 11:00 service will have their own KidZown worship service!  This service is for kids ONLY, ages 2 through 5th grade.  We meet in the KidZown Room (at the end of the main hallway) to have lots of fun sharing worship together for about half an hour of singing, praying, offering, story/scripture learning, etc., then we will break into age groups (kids ages 2 through 4 will go to the nursery, ages 5 – 2nd grade will go to Rm 15 and 3rd grade – 5th grade will go to Rm 11) to do more discussion and craft/game time.  Parents will drop off and pick up their kids before and after the service.

The nursery is well-staffed with an alert system for parents.  (When you drop your child off in the Nursery, you are given a pager so you can be contacted if your child needs you.)

Sunday School is at 10 am for ages K through 5th grade.  There are lessons, Bible stories, and/or crafts for them to participate in.

Praying Circles Around Your Children

This program is for children age 4-11 years old.  Nursery will be provided for children under 4 years old.

Registration is requested by September 12th and registration cost is $5 per family for book and materials, which can be paid the first day of class.
