I just wanted to check in with everyone about what is going on in KidZown worship. We are having lots of fun and lots of kids! I believe we are to the point of needing to split our group into 2 age groups – age 5-2nd grade and 3rd grade -5th grade. In order to do this, I need some volunteers who would be willing to help with the younger group. The worship hour would look like this: We ALL meet together to begin our worship in the KidZown room for our worship together. We will split into our groups for the last ½ hour to do crafts, etc. At this point, I am willing to basically give you everything you need to complete the hour – craft, information, game, whatever. Be sure to pray about this and let me know if you are interested in helping, either by teaching or helping hands. Or if you have a suggestion of someone who might be interested, let me know.
We have several of our kids who are moving right along with their memorization. So far, Emma, Alexis and Matthew Lamberson, and Ellie Luken have completed their memorization of the 10 Commandments. Emma, Alexis and Matthew Lamberson, and Anneke Donker have completed the first section of the 23rd Psalm. We are moving on to the second section of the psalm (three sections total) now. I have included this with the other two things at the end of this email.
The things we have been discussing in KidZown Worship the last few weeks are: Mothers (of course), Missions and Mission workers (and praying for our missionaries), Gideon and his 300 men, trumpets, torches and jars of clay (from Judges 8). For those of you who missed the Gideon story, you missed a good one (very loud, too, as we acted out the story with our own trumpets and torches!)! We have lots of great stories coming up; including Samson, Ruth, Samuel, Saul, David and Goliath, Solomon, building the Temple and much more!! So much good stuff in the Bible coming up!
Thanks for letting me share worship on Sunday morning with your kids! They really make me smile! Let me know if anyone has any questions or comments or suggestions to make KidZown better.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For you are with me;
Your rod and your staff – they comfort me.
